Mrs. Chamberlin (Miss Kris) became interested in teaching when she was a Big Sister to a child from the Nashua Children’s Orphanage when she was 19. Mrs. Chamberlin went back to college in her early 20’s to earn her degree. She then stayed home with her 2 children until the youngest was in kindergarten. Miss Kris has been a teacher for 18 years. This is her third year as an Early Childhood Educator and Special Education Teacher at Jacques Elementary. Both of her children are out of college now. Her oldest, Haley, is married and lives in Peru, Maine. She is a high school math teacher. Miss Kris live with her husband, Nate, and son, Gavin. Both are engineers. They have two pets, a dog, Teddy and cat, Fluffy.
