Ms. Heather Hoefs
Interim Principal

As the former Assistant Principal, Curriculum and Title One Coordinator, I am honored to be the Interim Principal at Jacques this school year.  My name is Heather Hoefs (pronounced Hayfs), and I have really enjoyed working with Milford's dedicated community of students, families, and educators over the last 3 years. With nearly 20 years of experience in education, I am deeply committed to fostering a supportive and enriching environment where every child can thrive.

 

My primary focus is to support the overall growth of our staff and students. To do this, I will continue to collaborate with our building and district level staff to ensure our teachers and students have what they need to learn in a safe and supportive environment. This includes my role within our building’s professional learning communities (PLC’s), Student Study Teams (SST’s), and district committees including safety and facility planning and more. 

 

I will also communicate with families and our community partners regularly, to ensure our expectations are clear, and our needs (and celebrations) are addressed to support our Jacques family.
