Welcome to the Jacques Memorial School
Speech and Language Department!
We have two Speech-Language Pathologists at our school:
Elizabeth (Beth) Girard, MA, CCC-SLP (Mrs. G)
My name is Beth Girard (Mrs. G) and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist who has been with the Milford School District since 1999, providing speech and language therapy, evaluation, and consultation for students across the district. I primarily work with elementary students at Jacques Memorial School and specialize in functional communication development and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC) with intensive needs students. Before coming to work at the Milford School District, I worked in pediatric and adult rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facilities. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from SUNY-Geneseo and a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Connecticut. I hold both the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a license to practice Speech-Language Pathology from the state of NH Board of Allied Health Professionals. When not working with children at school, I enjoy hiking, reading, spending time with my family, and visits to the ocean.
Kaitlin Kittredge, MS, CCC-SLP (Mrs. K)
Hello! My name is Mrs. Kittredge, but most students call me Mrs K! I am a Speech-Language Pathologist here at Jacques Memorial School. I primarily work with students in kindergarten and first grade, but have worked with students aged preschool through grade 12 during my time in the Milford School District! I live in Milford with my husband, two daughters, and my dog, Sadie. When I’m not at school, I love baking, reading books, walking my dog, and relaxing on the beach! I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped as well as a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Ithaca College. I hold both a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a license to practice Speech-Language Pathology from the state of New Hampshire Board of Allied Health. I started my career in Speech Language Pathology in the year 2000 at a rehabilitation hospital working with adults who had suffered a traumatic brain injury or stroke. I joined the Milford School District in 2003 and have thoroughly enjoyed helping my students develop their communication skills at school!
