Assistant Principal

 

I am excited for my second year as the Assistant Principal at Jacques Memorial Elementary School. My name is Heather Hoefs (pronounced Hayfs), and I have really enjoyed working with Milford's dedicated community of students, families, and educators. With 15 years of experience in education, I am deeply committed to fostering a supportive and enriching environment where every child can thrive.

 

In my role as Assistant Principal, my primary focus is to support the academic and personal growth of our students. I am also the Curriculum Coordinator and I will continue to collaborate with our building and district level staff to ensure our teachers and students are receiving an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum. 

 

As the Title One Coordinator, it is my job to facilitate reading and math data collection and work with our reading specialist, Title One staff and teachers to create targeted intervention plans for students. I will also communicate with families and facilitate Title One Info Nights as well as Family Fun Night! I work closely with our Curriculum and Title One Coordinator at Heron Pond.
