Mrs. Girard, MA, CCC-SLP
My name is Beth Girard (Mrs. G) and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist who has been with the Milford School District since 1999, providing speech and language therapy, evaluation, and consultation for students across the district. I primarily work with elementary students at Jacques Memorial School and specialize in functional communication development and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC) with intensive needs students. Before coming to work at the Milford School District, I worked in pediatric and adult rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facilities. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from SUNY-Geneseo and a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Connecticut. I hold both the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a license to practice Speech-Language Pathology from the state of NH Board of Allied Health Professionals. When not working with children at school, I enjoy hiking, reading, spending time with my family, and visits to the ocean.
