Week 28

Good Afternoon Jacques Families,

Spring is in full swing! Our teachers and staff are enjoying all the ways they are seeing our students learn and grow. Thank you for taking the time to read this week’s update.

SPRING BOOK FAIR - We are excited to be hosting the MES PTO Scholastic Spring Book Fair at JMS next week beginning Wednesday, April 13th through Friday, April 15th 2022.  Our students will be visiting the Book Fair with their classes next week. New books get our young students excited about reading and literacy.  All funds raised go to the MES PTO in support of our schools.  Please find attached to this email a letter with more information about the Spring Book Fair.  A flier with some of the popular book fair offerings will be sent home with students this Friday April 8th. You can also begin shopping online and set up an E-wallet deposit for your child by visiting the JMS Scholastic Book Fair Homepage.

CHOOSE LOVE BUS  returns to JMS:   We are excited to welcome back our friends from the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement, a non-profit organization that promotes mental health for children.  The “Choose Love – On the Move'' wellness tour will be visiting Jacques Memorial School on April 18 & 19th. The tour comes in response to the rise in stress, anxiety, isolation, and fatigue in children, and adults due to COVID-19. It aims to support the mental health needs of educators, students, families and the community at large. You can find more information about Choose Love at chooselovemovement.org
